G\u00f3mez que viene de su mejor temporada en las Grandes Ligas, es el tercer mejor bateador dominicano con un robusto .373, es tercero en cuadrangulares (4), en remolcadas (9), en anotadas (10) y en hits conectados (19), es cuarto en porcentaje de embase (OBP) con .411; primero en slugging (.706) y en OPS (OBP + SLG) con 1.117, en extrabases (8) y en bases alcanzadas (36).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">En la temporada pasada G\u00f3mez bate\u00f3 para .284, con 24 cuadrangulares y 73 remolcadas. En adici\u00f3n a eso, se estaf\u00f3 40 bases, 27 dobles, 10 triples, 80 anotadas, 152 hits, tuvo un OBP .338, SLG .506, OPS .843. Fue el l\u00edder en Victoria sobre Jugador Reemplazo (WAR) en el m\u00e1s viejo de los circuitos con un formidable 8.9.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">Asimismo, G\u00f3mez qued\u00f3 noveno en las votaciones para el Jugador M\u00e1s Valioso de la Liga Nacional.
