Nelson Cruz (Baltimore) y Johnny Cueto (Cincinnati) lideran los principales departamentos ofensivos y de pitcheo, respectivamente, entre los dominicanos en las Grandes Ligas.<\/p>\n

Cruz lidera dos de las tres patas (cuadrangulares y remolcadas) de la famosa Triple Corona, en tanto que Cueto, es segundo en triunfos y lidera a todos los lanzadores criollos en efectividad, ponches, WHIP y es el que menos le batea la oposici\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Otros dominicanos con notable actuaci\u00f3n a la ofensiva son Edwin Encarnaci\u00f3n (Toronto), Robinson Can\u00f3 (Seattle), Melky Cabrera (Toronto), Jos\u00e9 Bautista (Toronto), David Ortiz (Boston), Marcell Ozuna (Miami), entre otros.<\/p>\n

En lo que respecta al pitcheo abridor, Alfredo Sim\u00f3n (Cincinnati) y Wily Peralta (Milwaukee) encabezan en triunfos con 9 y 7, respectivamente; en tanto que Fernando Rodney (Seattle) y Rafael Sorianto (Washington) encabezan en juegos salvados con 18 y 13, respectivamente.<\/p>\n
